I’m a big fan of Quora and came across this question which I’ve been following closely;
What’s the single most valuable lesson you’ve learned in your professional life?
A fantastic response was added by James G Bridgeman quoted below.
(1) When a decision is required, make one. Do it cheerfully, without regret and don’t look back. Almost always, when a decision is required, the most important thing is that one be made … whether it is the correct decision or the best decision is rarely so important as just making a decision and moving on. This is especially true for an organization.
(2) When a decision is not required, or not yet, then don’t make one and don’t waste any time agonizing about one.
