About
MY LIFE
Born in 1983 in Carlisle, UK I moved to Newcastle in 1985/86 saw me brought up as a Geordie with a twist. From 1998 I have been set in my ways, playing PC and console games. I watch an obscene amount of DVD’s and am usually at the movies once a week.
Jennifer and I have been together since April/May 2006. Jen supports me through everything I do; aids me in achieving my goals and makes me realise that you can do whatever you want in life through support and hard work. We live with our dog Charlie who has been a part of our family since he was a pup and is one of my best friends in life.
WHAT I DO AND WHAT I’VE DONE
I’ve done a lot and achieved success in mostly everything I have put my hand to. Starting from the beginning, I co-ran a very popular website (nvmax.com). I’ve had a full time and part time job, I’ve been a civil servant, a soldier in the Royal Corps of Engineers and ran my own business before joining a creative agency in Newcastle upon Tyne.
I am now working at Codeworks as the Marketing and Creative Executive primarily looking after Thinking Digital and the DIBI Conference.
I am the person behind the Validation Icons website, Floobe (the design blog) and Theme Hype (the theme news blog)
Looking to the future, I will be starting some more personal projects which I look forward to get underway and start working with more brilliant people.
